Uzbekistan is one of five Central Asian republics that used to be part of the former Soviet Union. Bordered on the west and north by Kazakhstan, on the east by Kyrgyzstan, on the southeast by Tajikistan and on the south by Afghanistan and Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan includes the Karakalpak Autonomous Republic which occupies about 37 percent of Uzbekistan's territory. Uzbekistan's land area totals about 447,400 sq km (about 172,750 sq mi).

Tashkent is the capital and a major industrial and cultural center. It is the largest city in Central Asia and the fourth largest in the former USSR, after Moscow, Saint Petersburg, and Kiev. Other major cities in Uzbekistan include Samarkand, Namangan, Andijon, and Bukhara.

Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrive Tashkent
Arrive at Tashkent International Airport. Meet and Greet at the airport and transfer to hotel.  Evening is free to take in some of the Tashkent nightlife.

Overnight at hotel.
 
Day 2 : Tashkent – Charvak – Chimgan – Beldersay – Tashkent

Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Proceed for a trip to Charvak-Chimgan mountains (2 hrs, 100 km from Tashkent). Visit Charvak lake, Chimgan mountain resort, horse riding or quadro biking. Proceed onward to Beldersay Gorge Ski Resort. Take the chaircar lift upto the resort. Return to Tashkent.

Overnight at hotel.

 
Day 3 : Tashkent - Samarkand

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Samarkand by comfortable sedan car. (4 hrs, 310 km from Tashkent). Arrive Samarkand, formerly known as ‘Afrosiab’ and the former capital of the empire of Amir Timur. Check-in at the hotel “Afrasiab”.

Proceed for city tour, including Registan square (the landmark of Samarkand and a complex consisting of mosques, schools and a museum). Also visit Gur – Emir Mausoleum, and Shakhi–Zinda (a huge architectural necropolis).

Overnight is at hotel.

 
Day 4 : Samarkand - Tashkent

Breakfast in the hotel and check out.

Visit the local market of Samarkand and drive back to Tashkent and check-in at hotel.

Proceed for Tashkent city tour, which includes Amir Timur Square (located in the heart of Tashkent city with a statue of the greatest conqueror and military hero of Uzbekistan – Amir Timur on horseback) and visiting monument of Lal Bahadur Shastri (dedicated to the 2nd Prime Minister of India), Monument of Courage (dedicated to victims of the Tashkent earthquake in 1966).

Overnight at hotel.

 
Day 5 : Tashkent

Breakfast in the hotel. Proceed to visit another part of Tashkent city which includes Hast Imam Complex, located in old part of Tashkent. Shopping at the old orient bazaar Chorsu for local dry fruits, spices, Uzbek souvenirs etc., and at the Turkuaz shopping mall.

Overnight is at hotel.

 
Day 6 : Leave Tashkent
After a hearty buffet breakfast at the hotel, check out and drive on to the airport in time to board yur homeward flight.
