An exciting safari that takes you to the slopes of Mt. Kenya and across the equator to the Sweetwaters Game Reserve - the only park with a Chimpanzee Sanctuary in Kenya. The Sweetwaters Game Reserve is actually a private ranch of 24,000 acres, with magnificent views across the rolling plains to the snow covered slopes of Mount Kenya. It is the closest game reserve to Nairobi, a mere 2 ˝ hours' drive. It is also home to all of the “big five” game species and has the highest ratio of game-to-area of any park or reserve in Kenya.
Go on to visit the Lake Nakuru National Park which is one of the world's greatest bird shows. Finally take in Kenya's most popular game sanctary - the mighty Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Nowhere in Africa is available a richer variety of wildlife or more eventful game encounters than at the Mara. A pristine wilderness of haunting beauty, it offers visitors a profusion of wildlife, teeming bird life and unprecedented opportunities for catching up with all of the 'Big Five' members of Africa’s wildlife stars - all in the course of one morning. |
